Recently, Lan Yuqiang, Commercial Counsellor of the Economic & Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Botswana, and a delegation of four visited the Student Center Project of Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST project) undertaken by the company. The managing director of the company's office in Botswana and relevant staff of the project accompanied.
At the site, Lan Yuqiang listened to relevant work performance reports, inquired in detail about the progress of the project implementation, safety measures, and engineering quality, and recognized the work done by the project in protecting employee rights and interests, consular proꦍtection, and other aspects. He affirmed that the project team has always maintained the overseas front line and promoted project safety construction with high quality. He emphasized that the project team should adhere to the principle of balancing development and safety, envisage worst-case scenarios, strengthen safety and environmentally friendly awareness, enhance communication with the employer, and improve management of the project. He urged that the project team members properly coordinate the relationships among all parties during the sprint phases of the project, thus to ensure the smooth progress and timely completion eventually.
